When a simple gift becomes a symbol of everything that can’t be said aloud, two teenage girls discover that love isn’t always the hardest secret to keep — the world’s expectations are.

The Bracelet follows Samantha and Melanie through the blurred lines of friendship and first love, in a story that captures the delicate, sometimes defiant dance of identity, loyalty, and truth. With the pulse of adolescence and the tenderness of discovery, this work-in-progress from sw prothro explores what it means to love out loud in a world that keeps asking you to whisper.
